VKR Holding 2VKR Holding’s domicile in Hørsholm with the sculpture “Tankevækker” (“Thought Provoker”) created in 1990 by the sculptor Niels Christian Frandsen. The 2m-tall sculpture is made of Bornholm granite holding toned and white acrylic “leaves”. |

VKR Holding 3The landscape around the domicile includes a small artificial lake spanned by a 26m-long bridge. The bridge is designed by architect Peter Holsøe from Hvidt & Mølgaard, and is a near-copy of a bridge in Kyoto, Japan. |

VKR Holding 4The landscape around the domicile includes a sculpture, a “Daylight Pavilion”, created by the Dano-Icelandic artist, Olafur Eliasson. The Daylight Pavilion is 5m-tall and has a diameter of 8m, and it consists of a metal structure composed of slivers of tinted acrylic pieces covering the entire colour spectrum. The sculpture is based on calculations of the movement of the sun across the sky over the domicile throughout the year. |
