Mads Kann-Rasmussen has been appointed new CEO of VKR Holding A/S effective 1 August. He takes over the position from Jan Lundsgaard Jensen, who resigns due to illness.
‘It is with deep regret that I have received the information about Jan Lundsgaard Jensen’s serious illness. I would like to thank Jan Lundsgaard Jensen for his valued and long-standing effort for VKR Holding’, says Søren Bjerre-Nielsen, chairman of VKR Holding A/S.
Going forward, VKR Holding A/S wants to take up a more active investment strategy within its present competencies: Daylight, fresh air and a better environment. Therefore, the board appoints Mads Kann-Rasmussen as new CEO, both because he has wide international industrial management experience, and because he has consulting experience from the Boston Consulting Group. Today, Mads Kann-Rasmussen sits on the board of VKR Holding A/S.
‘Based on our new strategic orientation and his experience, the board has considered Mads Kann-Rasmussen the right successor to Jan Lundsgaard Jensen. We look forward to working with Mads Kann-Rasmussen, who has worked actively with the new strategy’, says Søren Bjerre-Nielsen.
Mads Kann-Rasmussen, who holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from CBS and has completed courses at IMD Business School in Switzerland, is today Vice President of the VELUX business unit, VELUX Modular Skylight.
