The principles for service

VELUX Volkswagen service car from 1952 is a testament that the principles for service became a crucial factor to the further development of the company. The service principles were a deeply rooted part of the company’s conduct towards its customers; the company was “also there for customers the day after tomorrow”. This also meant that for, many years, the company offered no formal guarantees: the purchase of a VELUX product should be enough of a guarantee in itself.

CSR - Corpoarate Social Responsibility

Villum Kann Rasmussen had ambitions for his company, which is also reflected in the Model Company Objective that he formulated in 1965. It is an objective that has later been declared as being the values foundation for the entire Group, and that shows that Villum Kann Rasmussen practised value based management long before it was taken up by the majority of businesses.

This window featured a full-width control bar, a pivot hinge with full friction, a ventilation flap and the company's own insulating pane.
